UN Definition of Poverty:
Denial of choices and opportunities - lack of basic necessity -

World Bank - Not having natural resources, food shortages in countries, no jobs or education - environmental destruction

North America - state of privation and lack of material goods - Most reseaRch about US. Levels of Poverty Mexico 2012 - 51% below, US - 15%, Canada 9%, 9%.
23,000 in US poverty line. More than 50%of Americans will spend a year or more below the poverty line.
9.9 - caucasian
12.1 - asian
26.6 - all hispanic
27.4 - african american

Richest to poorest - US - Mexico poorest.

South America - not being education, not being able to work - or move forward, a result of peoples inabilities to get food shelter food, clothing education,
4 poorest countries - Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Equador...

Europe - Social exclusion - process of pushing people away - vulnerability because they lack resources, educational disadvantages, isolation

below 10 Euro a day = poverty line
